SureHire explains Aerobic

Aerobic exercise increases the rate of respiration as well as the heartbeat to a point at which the body can maintain the effort over a period of time. The more efficient the body is at transporting oxygen to the muscles, the longer the body can maintain the effort. If aerobic exercise becomes too intense, it becomes anaerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise is often called cardio due to the link to the cardiovascular system. The effects of aerobic exercise enhance physical and mental well-being. Other benefits include preventing or minimizing the risk of osteoporosis, diabetes, heart disease, and certain cancers.
